SOBRE

O ARTISTA

Carlos Garaicoa estudou termodinâmica e, posteriormente, pintura no Instituto Superior de Arte, em Havana (1989-1994). Ele emprega uma abordagem multi-disciplinar para tratar de questões de cultura e política, através do estudo de urbanismo, arquitetura e história. Seu tema principal foi a cidade de Havana, e seu trabalho com mídia inclue instalações, vídeo, escultura, fotografia, livros pop-up e desenhos.
